BANG BANG BURGERS + CARROT FRIES

🍔 Per Burger (325cals – 25g Protein)

🍔🥕 x1 Burger and Fries (403cals – 27g Protein)

🍔🍔🥕 x2 Burgers and fries (728cals – 52g Protein)

INGREDIENTS

  • Two chicken burgers
  • Two brioche buns
  • 20 grams of light coleslaw (10 grams for each bun)
  • 200 grams of carrots (chopped)
  • 50 grams of light mayo
  • 15 grams of sriracha
  • 15 grams of sweet chili sauce
  • Optional: chives for garnish

DESCRIPTION

1.Combine the light mayo, sriracha, and sweet chili sauce in a large dish.

2.Add the chopped carrots to the dish and mix well.

3.Transfer the carrot mixture to a preheated air fryer and cook for 15 minutes at 200 degrees.

4.Coat the chicken burgers with the remaining light mayo mixture.

5.Place the burgers on a pan set to high heat. Once one side is charred, flip the burgers and reduce the heat.

6.In the last minute of cooking, place the brioche buns face down onto the pan to heat them up.

7.The burgers should cook for about 4 to 6 minutes on each side. You can flatten the burgers a bit to speed up the cooking time.

8.To serve, assemble the buns with the light coleslaw and the cooked chicken burgers.

9.Optional: Garnish with chives before serving.

SPICY NANDOS BURGER

INGREDIENTS

• 300 g Chicken Breast (150×2)

• 1 Medium Egg

• 2 Brioche Buns

• 40 g Chilli Jam (Nando’s)

• 40 g Light Mayo 

• 40 g Reduced Fat Cheddar Cheese

• 60 g Corn Flakes (Kellogg’s)

• 40 g Reduced Fat Halloumi (20g x2)

• 1 pack Nando’s Seasoning Medium

DESCRIPTION

1. Slice the chicken breasts in half to thin them.

2. Season with salt, pepper, and Nando’s seasoning.

3. Beat egg in a bowl. Crush Corn Flakes and place on a plate. Dip chicken in egg, then Corn Flakes.

4. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Cook chicken for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway.

5. Slice halloumi and fry in a pan until golden brown.

6. Mix chili jam and mayo for spread.

7. Toast buns in air fryer for 2 minutes at the end of chicken cooking time.

8. Place cheese on cooked chicken, return to air fryer for 1-2 minutes to melt.

9. Assemble burgers with spread, chicken, halloumi, and any other toppings.

CHICKEN PARM BURGER

  • 4 150g Chicken breasts (600g total)
  • 30g southern fried  (paxo) breadcrumbs 
  • 25g crushed cornflakes 
  • 4 brioche buns (160c each)
  • 15g Parmesan
  • 30g reduced fat Mozzarella 
  • 100g dolmio or aldi sundried tomato stir in marinara sauce

DESCRIPTION:

200degrees in the Airfryer for 15-20 mins (times will vary based on type of Airfryer and thickness of breast)

Suggested extras:

  • Might Mayo and tomato purée mixed
  • Salad of your choosing lettuce tomatos onions etc
  • Airfryer veg goes perfect with this. Carrotsbabycorn, asparagus, cauliflower with Parmesan, butternut squash fries etc (can also have potatoes/fries with it if you have the cals)

 

BONUS NANDOS/FIVE GUYS BURGER

SERVES 1

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lean beef quarter pounder (chilli)
  • 2 slices Wafer thin chorizo
  • 1 brioche bun (around 160 cals)
  • 15g Light Mozzarella Slice
  • 20g Nandos sweet chilli jam

 

DESCRIPTION

1. Cut your beef patty in half and place into a hot pan

2. Flip once one side has charred

3. Add 1 slice of light mozzarella in the middle of the patties once cooked to help it melt.

4. Last 20-30 seconds add your wafer thin chorizo and heat up the bun

5. Serve on the bun with lettuce or whatever else you want and add your chilli jam.
