EGG FRIED RICE

INGREDIENTS

Main ingredients:

– 140g Basmati rice (microwave)

– 80g Peas

– 150g Chicken breast (raw weight)

– 1 medium egg

– 30g sweet chilli sauce

– 20g light soy sauce

– 10g Hoysin sauce (on top)

– 10g Sirracha (on top)

 

Add 5g of each:

  • Chinese 5 spice or Kerala salt and chilli seasoning
  • Garlic purée
  • Add 3g each:
  • Onion granules
  • Garlic granules

*Secret ingredient- 50ml chicken stock 1/2 stock cube

Top with sesame seeds (seseme oil – adds cals)

Salt and pepper to taste 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Add chicken onto a med-high heat pan 
  2. Brown and cook through 
  3. Add one egg into pan and mix
  4. Add microwave rice, frozen peas, all sauces/seasonings/puree 
  5. Add chicken stock and mix until your desired consistency 
  6. Top with Sirracha and Hoysin sauce
